PARTNERSHIPS
KNRLP is dedicated to finding opportunities that benefit both Kwadacha Nation and its members. We achieve this goal by partnering with businesses that recognize and support our goals to build a brighter future for the Nation.
FORMULA CONTRACTORS LTD.
In 2020, Kwadacha First Nation and Formula Contracting came together to form a mutual benefit agreement to capitalize on business and procurement opportunities both within and outside of the Kwadacha Traditional Territory. This agreement supports Kwadacha members through training and employment opportunities and Kwadacha’s businesses by bringing contracting opportunities.
Formula Contractors Ltd are committed to maintaining strong and healthy relationships with the Indigenous Peoples on whose traditional lands they often work. As such, Formula has developed solid partnerships with several First Nations. Together, they pursue long-term, sustainable engineering solutions that respect the surrounding culture and environment.
DUZ CHO CONSTRUCTION LTD.
We have a collaborative working relationship with Duz Cho, and this has allowed KNRLP to acquire equipment and work together to participate in the Portage Mountain Quarry.
Duz Cho’s core business has always been heavy earthworks, priding ourselves on the ability to move the largest amount of material in the least amount of time. Their team has many years of experience in working in all types of soil and weather conditions, maximizing efficiencies, minimizing costs, and above all doing it safely. Although they started in the oil and gas sector, they have always strived to be proactive on the ever-changing economy, anticipating changes and switching to other sectors has kept Duz Cho a strong and vibrant company while others have declined or fell by the wayside.
SPECTRUM RESOURCE GROUP INC.
Spectrum Resource Group is an integrated vegetation management solutions provider with expertise in vegetation management, forest management, and reforestation in forestry, oil and gas, utility, and community resource industries across Canada.
They are a privately held company that has been in business since 1986. Over their many years in operation, they have distinguished themselves from their competitors by developing a highly educated workforce of professionals who use their years of experience in the field to deliver an interdisciplinary approach to vegetation management.

DUNKLEY LUMBER
KNRLP and Dunkley Lumber entered into a partnership agreement which focuses on Kwadacha First Nation’s woodland license, which will be developed over the next cut control period of five years.
Dunkley Lumber is based in the heart of British Columbia and they operate one of the most technologically advanced and efficient sawmills in North America. Dunkley’s reach has extended to our neighboring provinces with the addition of Foothills Forest Products in Grande Cache, AB and Edgewood Forest Products in Carrot River, SK.
Dunkley Lumber produces premium lumber that is shipped around the world to customers who understand the value you get from quality.

Work with us and together we can build economic wealth for Kwadacha Nation and its members while maintaining a healthy environment.
